Does app lock replace encryption?
No. End-to-end encryption protects the conversation between participants. App lock protects access on the device in front of you.
Can I lock a single chat?
Yes — Kissend also supports a per-chat PIN from the conversation menu, in addition to whole-app lock and Hidden chats.
