Getting started

Is Kissend free to use?

Yes. Kissend is free for private one-to-one messaging in your browser. Open the app, create a username, and start chatting without a paid plan for core private web chat.

Do I need to install an app?

No. Kissend is browser chat — it runs fully in modern browsers on mobile, tablet, and desktop. There is no app store download required to start encrypted messaging.

Do I need a phone number?

No. Kissend uses username-based identity so you can chat without sharing a phone number or syncing your contact list. That is a core part of our private messaging design.

How do I start a private chat?

Open app.kissend.com, create an account and username, send a connection request to someone you know, and start messaging once they approve. A full walkthrough is on the how it works page.

Which browsers are supported?

Kissend works in modern browsers such as current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. For the best experience, keep your browser updated and enable JavaScript.

Privacy & security

Is Kissend end-to-end encrypted?

Yes. Kissend is designed with end-to-end encryption so private messages stay between you and the person you are chatting with. Learn more on our security page.

Is Kissend only for one-to-one chats?

Yes. Kissend intentionally focuses on private one-to-one conversations — without groups, channels, or public feeds. That focus keeps privacy controls and the product experience calm.

Can I delete messages?

Yes. You can manage messages in your conversations, including using one-time or disappearing messages when you want content that does not linger after it is seen. Exact controls are available inside the app.

How do connection requests work?

To chat with someone, send a connection request using their Kissend username. They must approve before encrypted one-to-one messaging begins. This keeps private chat intentional.

Does Kissend offer screenshot protection?

Yes. Screenshot protection and related discretion tools such as blurred or hidden chats help add another layer of privacy for sensitive conversations. See the features page for the full set of controls.

What data does Kissend collect?

We collect account information needed to run the service (such as your username and login details) and limited technical or analytics data to improve reliability. Message contents are protected with end-to-end encryption. Details are in our Privacy Policy, including cookies and Google Analytics on our marketing site.

Account & support

Can I use Kissend on multiple devices?

Yes. Because Kissend runs in the browser, you can sign in from a phone, tablet, or desktop and pick up the same private conversation across devices.

Is Kissend suitable for professional use?

Many people use Kissend for discreet professional coordination without mixing it into personal messengers. It stays focused on one-to-one privacy rather than team channels. See use cases.

How can I contact support?

Email [email protected] or use the contact form on our contact page. We aim to respond within a few business days. For product questions, the FAQ and how it works page are a good first stop.
