How to chat without giving someone your phone number
You can keep a conversation useful without turning it into an address-book relationship.
Create a username identity
Open Kissend in your browser and create an account. Choose a username you are comfortable sharing for this context — it becomes the address people use to find you, not your phone number.
You never need to hand over a personal number just to start a private thread.
Connect with consent
Share your username with the person you want to talk to, or search for theirs. Send a connection request and wait for acceptance when their settings require it. That pause is intentional: private chat should begin with an affirmative choice.
Once connected, message in an encrypted one-to-one browser thread.
Add device privacy if you need it
If you share a phone or laptop, turn on app lock. Hide sensitive conversations, and use disappearing messages when you want less leftover history.
