Help Q&A
Quick answers
Practical questions about using Kissend day to day. For longer walkthroughs, open the Help center.
Do I need a phone number?
No. Kissend uses a username. Share your username instead of a phone number.
Is Kissend free?
Yes. Core private one-to-one chat in the browser is free today.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Open app.kissend.com in a modern browser on phone, tablet, or desktop.
Are my chats private?
Yes. Kissend is built for private, secure one-to-one messaging. Chats stay between you and the person you talk with.
How do I hide a chat?
Set a Hidden PIN in Account, then use ⋮ → Hide chat. Unlock from the Hidden tab with your PIN.
What is a decoy PIN?
An optional second PIN for Hidden that opens an empty inbox — useful if someone forces you to unlock.
How do I lock the whole app?
Enable App lock in Account and choose a PIN. Kissend can also re-lock after idle time.
How do connection requests work?
Search a username and send a request. They usually approve before messaging starts, unless their privacy allows open DMs.
Can I send photos and voice notes?
Yes. Attach photos, video, documents, or hold the mic for a voice note. View-once is available for sensitive media.
What are disappearing messages?
A chat timer that clears newer messages after the period you choose. Set it from the chat menu.
Can I use Kissend on multiple devices?
Yes. Sign in from another browser — it is the same account and conversations.
How do I delete my account?
Open Account settings in the app and follow delete account. You can also contact support if you need help.
I forgot my Hidden PIN
On the Hidden unlock screen, tap Forgot PIN and follow the reset steps.
